BBO GCtW is a partnership project that seeks to provide support to and work with individuals in Barrow and South Lakeland who are facing multiple and complex barriers to employment and who are furthest removed from the labour market.

Can you help Us?

Following a grant funding extension until June 2023, we are seeking to procure Media and PR, and Graphic Design Support to help us promote and highlight the wonderful work our project delivers and strengthen our visibility in Barrow in Furness and South Lakes.

We are looking for suitably experienced and qualified individuals with a strong track record of working with and/or in the voluntary sector who can work with us on a freelance basis. You must demonstrate a strong understanding of and commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion and anti-racist practice:

Media & PR Support:

You must have an excellent track record of writing press releases and case studies, strong links and connections to local media outlets including online platforms, radio, and newspapers as well a good understanding of the voluntary sector and have worked previously with charities to support their PR and media presence.

 

Graphic & Design Support:

You must have experience and expertise in design and marketing, an ability to support our existing and future project design and branding to support the design of our website, case studies, create infographics for posters and reports and our planned ‘brand refresh’. You must have a good understanding of the voluntary sector and have worked previously with charities to support their PR and branding.
