Come and join the hospice.

We are setting up a brand-new home care service providing personal care for people in their last weeks/days of life. Our new service will help more local people achieve their wish to die at home, supported by our friendly and respected Hospice Care at Home team.

We have full and part time hours available, in a shift system covering 7am – 11pm, 7 days-a-week. As well as a kind heart, all we ask is that you have a driving license, so you can travel to patient’s homes.

St Mary’s Hospice offers you:

  • Full training, including the Care Certificate if you don’t already have it
  • Opportunities to develop a career in caring, up to and including nursing qualifications

  • Contracted, secure hours – so you get a pension, paid annual leave, sick pay
