Hours: 37.5 hours per week                                                                      

Based in: Lancaster

We require an experienced, highly motivated Floating Support Worker to provide person centred support for a number of service users who have been discharged into the community after spending lengthy periods detained in hospital as well as providing Home Care for people with less intensive support needs who live in Lancaster.

You will need to enjoy working with people, be understanding, resilient and most of all believe that decent futures are possible for people with challenging and complex needs.

You will be required to work on a rota including sleep overs and week end working.

Transforming Care Practitioners will have the opportunity to work in a person centred way with individuals with learning disability, neurological impairments, autistic spectrum, mental health and complex behavioural needs.

These posts are exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. Offers of employment are subject to satisfactory DBS check.
