We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Farming and Conservation Officer to work with farmers to increase their knowledge of, and encourage good farming practices that reduce the impact of pollution and improve habitat in the Eden river catchment. Agriculture is a key industry in the Eden Catchment. Eden Rivers Trust has a long and successful track record of working with farmers and landowners to deliver environmental improvements. As part of the Farming and Conservation team, you will deliver a number of exciting projects with our partner organisations and stakeholders. In particular, you will lead on our ongoing work with farmers within the River Petteril catchment. You will build on the many successes of the trust in recent years in delivering positive outcomes for people and nature through providing sound advice to local farmers on water-friendly farming initiatives and by delivering innovative and practical conservation projects. Applications are welcomed from those who would like to work part-time.
