A vacancy has arisen within the Council’s Social Inclusion department to deliver community based engagement and regeneration to reduce social inequalities within a specific geographic area of Whitehaven.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with the Well Whitehaven community and Partners to develop health, wellbeing, and community resilience initiatives.  You will work with and on behalf of the community, reporting into Copeland Borough Council, who is the accountable body for the project funding.  The aim is to create transformational opportunities for existing residents and future generations.

The post will require someone with a strong background in developing multi agency projects to reduce social exclusion.   If you have a strong understanding of community development, good project management skills including administration and budget management and an ability to work across the public, private and community sectors we would like to hear from you.
