Due to increased demand, we are looking for enthusiastic adult and children and young peoples therapists or counsellors with a recognised qualification to at least the equivalent of a postgraduate diploma. Who has or is willing to undertake training on trauma informed practise and understanding the impact of sexual and domestic abuse upon survivors, (12 months post qualification experience is desirable) to join our therapeutic team. You will provide specialist support, counselling and trauma-focused therapy to adults, children and young people. The successful applicant will be responsible for their own case load, work autonomously and pro-actively with clients as well as in an inter-agency context. This is a hybrid role which means the successful candidate will need to be able to travel across Cumbria and work remotely from home. Therapists and counsellors are working remotely at present with sessions being delivered via telephone or video link. We provide the following staff wellbeing support, clinical supervision, case management and peer support meetings, all taking place through Microsoft Teams at present. Reporting to: Head of Operations and Head of Clinical Practice.

Hours: 35 hours per week full time. (8 hours per day, 60 minutes unpaid breaks, minimum of 4 clients a day).
