Does your organisation provide sport and/or physical activity opportunities for your local community?

Do you have the right skills in place to make sure your club thrives and becomes more resilient over the coming years?

The Fit For the Future programme provides organisations from across Cumbria with a range of essential skills to enable them the be more resilient moving forward.

Retaining and Recognising Your Existing Volunteers

(8 November at 6.30pm – 8.30pm)

This practical and interactive workshop will cover tools and tips on how your club or organisation can: –

  • Retain and develop volunteers
  • Provide effective induction, training, and support
  • Recognise, reward and value your volunteers
  • Support volunteers to leave positively
  • Put in place a plan for how you can ensure your volunteers feel valued and motivated.

There is also the opportunity to benefit from additional one to one support should your organisation require it.

Workshops are completely FREE OF CHARGE and will be delivered on-line through MicrosoftTeams. A useful resource pack will also accompany each session.

The session will be delivered jointly by Weareintro and Active Cumbria with input from Cockermouth RUFC.

You can attend as many sessions as appropriate, and it is advisable to book early as places will be limited.
Organisations attending all four sessions will receive some complimentary New Balance apparel from Active Cumbria.
