The Sustain Eden Programme funded by Big Lottery, focuses on the themes of energy, transport, resources and extreme weather and aims to create a resilient community capable of responding to the impacts of climate change.
Running from 2013-2015, the Programme involves 10 partners, who between them deliver a range of projects under 4 main strands of work. These are:
- Sustainable Community Solutions
- Local resource efficiency
- Cold to Cosy Homes
- Future Proofing Eden
Cumbria CVS and Action for Communities in Cumbria (ACT) are working with organisations and communities to develop resilience and continuity plans that minimise the impact of potential emergencies or disruption due to severe weather.
If you feel your organisation would benefit from a business continuity review or you would like to put a plan in place, please contact us.
