Mental Health Awareness Week

It’ s Mental Health Awareness Week (18-24 May).

Cumbria is supporting the campaign looking at the theme of kindness and using it as a chance to look back and appreciate the acts of kindness shown in these uncertain and unprecedented times.

Some of the benefits of kindness include:

·         Creates a sense of belonging

·         Helps reduce stress

·         Deepens friendships

·         Boosts self-esteem

·         Improves feelings of confidence and optimism.
