Third Sector Vacancy on Public health Alliance

You may recall that we recently advertised for a third sector representative to sit on Cumbria’s Public Health Alliance. The representative will join our existing representative (Sheila Gregory from Carlisle Mencap) who also chairs the Alliance.
I’m delighted to say we have received three very good applications, therefore we are asking third sector organisations operating in Cumbria to choose their preferred representative.
Please see applications from each candidate, to help you decide:
David Higham
Jane Gordon
Penny Pullinger

Shaddongate Resource Centre Open Day

Cumbria CVS will host an official launch to celebrate both the re-opening of the building, post flooding, and our partnership with Carlisle City Council on Tuesday 18 July 2017.
We would be delighted if you would join us in our celebrations. Come along and network, tour the facility with its newly reinstated facilities including conference/training rooms, a Community Hall, a kitchen, a Changing Place Facility, and office space, and see what’s on offer. Cumbria CVS will be showcasing their services as part of this event, along with the services provided by other local organisations operating from the Resource Centre.
