A vacancy has arisen for a Modern Apprentice based in the Asset Management. This is an exciting opportunity to gain experience in a supportive and friendly office environment.

The Modern Apprentice will be given the opportunity to gain experience in managing housing repairs and maintenance work together with an NVQ Level 2 qualification in Business Administration and will be for a period of two years.

We are looking for a flexible and enthusiastic person who has good IT and communication skills, is organised and wants to work as part of a team to deliver:

 A warm, welcoming and professional approach to customers, contractors and internal teams who contact the Asset Management team by telephone, email and in person. Improvements to how we use social media to talk to customers.

 Good records of the work we do including data input, invoicing, recording of certificates and housing related activities, using electronic filing systems and bespoke IT and housing databases.

 Support to the Property Maintenance Officers with the repair and maintenance of homes, property inspections and giving decoration vouchers to tenants.

 Support to the Compliance team to keep domestic and safety appliances working well, with good records of the checks we make so our homes are safe for tenants to live in.
