This course will help you to improve how you communicate with the people around you.
During the session we will explore misunderstandings and why they happen; consider the role of listening and identify different ways of communicating. We will look at what to do if things go wrong in your workplace, whilst volunteering or in your life generally.
By the end of the session, participants will have:
- Discussed who they, as volunteers, need to communicate with and why
- Explored misunderstandings and why they happen
- Considered the role of listening in communication
- Identified different ways of communicating
- Discussed what to do if things go wrong
