The Veterans Support Conference for Cumbria
Veterans who need help deserve joined-up support. Many agencies exist to help them and this Conference is a chance for those in Cumbria to get together to forge closer practical links.
Built around core themes of ‘Housing’, ‘Health and Wellbeing’ and ‘Into Employment’, the conference will bring together providers from all sectors and include the following speakers:
- Professor Rob Wilson, Newcastle University
- Sue Freeth, Director of Operations, the Royal British Legion
- Mike Taylor, Chairman Cumbria Partnership NHS Foundation Trust
- Lt Colonel (Retd) Mel Pears, Finchale College
With opportunities to network and discuss the issues throughout the day, Get Together : Work Together is a must for those wanting to provide the best support to our Veterans.
