Annual Compact Conference 2014

The Annual Compact conference is open to public sector and third sector delegates and provides a great opportunity for local networking and learning. This FREE event will show how the Cumbria Compact is being used in practice and will explore how we can use it to benefit our organisations and partnerships. The day will include:

• The Cumbria Compact
  Cumbria County Council and Cumbria CVS
• Implementing Social Value
  South Lakeland District Council
• Working with Volunteers
  Cumbria County Council
• Supporting Community Action
  Alston Ambulance and North West Ambulance Service (NWAS)

Workshops:
These will look at the commitments of the Cumbria Compact and will help illustrate how the Compact can support the work of your organisation whether third sector or public sector:

• The Cumbria Compact and Commissioning
• Good practice working with Volunteers
• Advancing Equality, Diversity, good consultation and engagement
